The Alliance advocates for its members’ constitutional right to protect their content through copyright laws and licensing enforcement. Publishers are both creators and users of copyrighted works. Content creators must reap the benefits of their massive investments in the development process. The Alliance supports the copyright “fair use” doctrine, advocating to protect the ownership rights of publishers as content creators, while defending their ability to make lawful use of copyrighted works.
